Scientific interests or research topics offered to candidates

1.     Spectral analysis of low-Earth orbit (LEO) geodetic observations using the discrete Fourier transform-DFT.

2.     Analysis of ionospheric disturbances caused by earthquakes and tsunamis in the observations of low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellites (Swarm, GRACE-FO and other)

3.     Analysis of the observations of sea level anomalies (SLA) and electric field using satellite dual-frequency altimeters (Jason-2, Jason-3, Sentinel 3A / B), with focus on the modelling of global ionosphere models (GIM) modelling and seismic disturbances.

4.     Spectral analysis with the use of discrete Fourier transform (DFT) of time series of various geodetic and geophysical observations.

Funds or special equipment required for the doctoral project

1.     Is there funding available to cover the cost of research? YES

2.     Is the infrastructure and adequate resources available in the Laboratory/Chair to serve the planned research tasks? YES
