Programme description: Education is conducted based on a program and an individual research plan. The aim is to educate medical sciences and health sciences doctoral students in the scope necessary to conduct high-quality research in the areas of etiopathogenesis of diseases, modern diagnostic methods, modern treatment methods, the influence of environmental factors and the possibility of disease prevention. The studies are a response to the health needs of patients and are conducted with the highest ethical standards. In addition to highly specialized knowledge in the field of medical sciences, health sciences and knowledge of high ethical standards, the program includes classes in the methodology of scientific research, building research hypotheses, interpretation of the obtained results, critical discussion, biostatistics, principles of presenting assumptions and results of scientific research, knowledge on raising funds for research and the possibility of research commercialization.

Further development opportunities:

After completing the education program, the graduate is prepared to conduct further independent scientific research and research work in interdisciplinary research teams, as well as didactic work in Polish and foreign research centres.
