1.     Is there funding available to cover the cost of research?  
The research will be conducted within a grant intended for research purposes. In the second year, the PhD candidate will apply for a project funded by external funds.

2.     Is the infrastructure and adequate resources available in the Laboratory/Chair to serve the planned research tasks?  
The Department of Soil Science and Microbiology has the appropriate infrastructure and equipment necessary to conduct research.
