Full professor of veterinary sciences, working as a professor at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (UWM). Research into the impact of various doses of bisphenol A and bisphenol S (BPA analogue) (a substance widely present in plastics) on the neurochemical characteristics of nerve structures in the pig’s alimentary tract. The impact of acrylamide supplementation on the chemical encoding of neurons in the enteric nervous system in the pig’s stomach. Research into the impact of acute hyperglycaemia on the phenotypic variability of neurons in the intestinal nervous system in the duodenum, jejunum and ileum of the pig. Research into inflammations caused by popular NSAIDs (naproxen, indomethacin and aspirin) and their impact on the expression of bioactive substances in neurons in the enteric nervous system (ENS) of the pig duodenum.
